50-80 mm Calcium Carbide – Bigger Lumps, Steady Gas, Full Containers Only
Let me introduce our factory first. We are located in Inner Mongolia, a region rich in coal and lime. Our annual production capacity is 70,000 metric tons of calcium carbide. That’s not a future goal – that’s what we ship every year.
Our calcium carbide 50 80mm grade is one of our most popular sizes. Why? Because it feeds smoothly into large acetylene generators and works well for steel desulfurization lances. The lumps are big enough to avoid dust, but small enough to react within a predictable window.

Gas Yield and Quality
Every batch of our calcium carbide 50 80mm delivers 300 L/KG gas yield. We test each furnace run. You will receive a certificate with your shipment showing the actual number. No guesswork.
Two Drum Options – You Pick the Weight
We pack our calcium carbide 50 80mm in steel drums. You have two choices:
Which one should you choose? If your workers move drums by hand, 50 kg is safer. If you have forklifts everywhere, 100 kg drums mean fewer drums to open and dispose. We offer both. You decide.

Mix Different Sizes in One Container
You don’t have to fill a whole container with only calcium carbide 50 80mm. Add other sizes if you need them. For example:
-
12 tons of 50-80 mm
-
6 tons of 25-50 mm
-
4 tons of 7-15 mm
We pack each size into different colored drums. Your warehouse team sees the color and knows which size they are handling. No label reading from a distance.
We have 11 standard colors. Tell us your preference – no extra charge.

Your Own Drum Markings
We paint directly on the drums. No stickers – stickers fall off in humid weather. Send us a PDF or AI file. We will print:

Storage – Keep It Dry, Up to Two Years
Store drums off concrete floors. Use wooden pallets or steel racks. Keep the warehouse below 40°C and humidity under 50%. Do not stack drums under water pipes or sprinklers. Always reseal a drum after you take material.
In a dry, cool warehouse, our calcium carbide 50 80mm stays fresh for two years. In humid coastal areas, use within 18 months.
Safety Warning – Read This
Water plus calcium carbide creates acetylene gas. Acetylene gas plus a spark causes an explosion. Never open a drum in rainy weather. Never use water to clean a spill – use dry sand only. If a drum gets wet by accident, evacuate the area. Do not move the drum.
We put clear warnings on every drum. Train your staff.

Minimum Order – One Full Container
We are a factory, not a retail shop. Our minimum order is one 20-foot container (22.5 tons). We do not sell by the bag or by the kilo.
