Let me tell you where this stuff comes from. Our plant is in Inner Mongolia, a region known for coal and lime – the two things you need to make good calcium carbide. We’ve been running furnaces there for years. Every day, we produce tons of it. That makes us a serious calcium carbide manufacturer with real output and real quality control.
We don’t buy from traders. We are the calcium carbide manufacturer. You talk to us, you get factory prices and direct answers.

This size is roughly between a marble and a ping‑pong ball. It’s big enough to handle without dust, small enough to react quickly. Gas yield: 285 L/KG. Not the highest on our list, but rock solid. We test every batch.
The calcium carbide manufacturer that only sells one size isn’t helping you. We produce everything from 1 mm to 120 mm. So when you order 25-50 mm, you can also add other sizes in the same container.
We ship to over 50 countries. Here’s what they do with our calcium carbide:
Acetylene gas – welding, cutting, and flame cleaning. The 25-50 mm size feeds well into medium and large generators.
Steel desulfurization – injected into molten steel to remove sulfur. This grade gives a good balance of reaction speed and penetration.
Calcium cyanamide – a fertilizer and chemical intermediate. The lumps break down evenly in the kiln.
Chemical synthesis – making PVC, acetaldehyde, or vinyl acetate.
One of the reasons we’ve grown as a calcium carbide manufacturer is that we listen to what these industries actually need – not just what’s easiest to pack.

A 20' container holds 22.5 tons of our calcium carbide in 50 kg drums. That’s 450 drums per container.
Why 50 kg instead of 100 kg? Because not every warehouse has a forklift. A 50 kg drum can be moved by two workers. It’s safer, easier to handle, and reduces the risk of back injuries. And when you mix different sizes in one container, 50 kg drums are more flexible for partial pallets.
Yes, 450 drums use more steel than 225 drums of 100 kg. That adds a little to the cost. But many customers tell us the handling savings are worth it. We’re a calcium carbide manufacturer that offers both – you choose what works for your operation.
Standard drums are grey. Boring. We can do better. Tell us a color – we have 11 RAL shades in stock, or we can match your custom code.
Why colors? Because when you store multiple sizes in the same warehouse, color helps your team grab the right drum without reading labels. For example:
25-50 mm → Yellow drums
7-15 mm → Blue drums
50-80 mm → Black drums

We don’t use stickers. They fall off in heat or humidity. We paint your markings directly on the drum. Send us a PDF or AI file. We’ll print:
Your company logo
“Calcium Carbide – 25-50 mm – 285 L/KG”
Net weight: 50 kg
Batch number and production date
“DANGER: Reacts with water. Flammable acetylene gas.”
UN1402 / Class 4.3 hazard diamond

We’ve done markings in Thai, Arabic, Spanish, French, Vietnamese, Indonesian, and more. No extra charge for standard text.
You don’t have to fill a whole container with just 25-50 mm. Mix it with other grades. For example:
10 tons of 25-50 mm (yellow drums)
6 tons of 4-7 mm (green drums)
4 tons of 15-25 mm (white drums)
All in one 20' container. Total 20 tons. You pay one freight bill, one customs clearance. That’s the kind of flexibility you expect from a calcium carbide manufacturer that actually runs its own packing line.

We export to over 50 countries. Every port has different requirements. Here’s what we can provide:
ISO 9001
SGS inspection reports (pre-shipment or destination)
BV (Bureau Veritas)
Full SDS in multiple languages
GHS-compliant drum labels
Origin certificate, commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading
We don’t have REACH – if your destination needs it, please check locally. But for most of Asia, Africa, South America, and the Middle East, our standard documents work fine.
From the day you confirm your order and we receive the deposit, we typically ship within two weeks. Our warehouse in Tianjin is less than 5 km from the port. That means loading starts fast. We’ve been a calcium carbide manufacturer for long enough to know how to book vessels and avoid delays.
We’ve shipped to over 50 countries – including Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Nigeria, Egypt, Brazil, Argentina, Poland, Turkey, and many more. We know each port’s document rules. No rookie mistakes.

We don’t force everyone into the same payment box. Options include:
L/C at sight (letter of credit)
T/T (30% deposit, balance against copy of bill of lading)
Negotiable for long‑term partners
Tell us what works for your treasury. We’ll see if we can match it.
Calcium carbide reacts with moisture. Store our 50 kg drums:
Off concrete floors (use pallets)
Below 40°C, humidity under 50%
Away from water pipes and sprinklers
Always reseal after opening
Under good conditions, it stays fresh for 2 years. In humid climates, use within 18 months.
Water + calcium carbide = acetylene gas. Acetylene + spark = explosion. Never open a drum in wet weather. Never use water on a spill (dry sand only). If a drum gets wet, evacuate and call emergency services.
We put warnings on every drum. But you train your people.
