You don’t see 80-120 mm every day. Most suppliers sell medium sizes because they’re easier to screen and pack. But some processes actually need big chunks – slow, steady gas release, fewer fines, and less dust in the generator.
That’s where our calcium carbide stone comes in. We crush and screen it specifically for customers who want large lumps. Gas yield: 300 L/KG. That’s as high as it gets.

Our factory is in Inner Mongolia. We’ve been making calcium carbide for years, with an annual output of 36,000 tons. Not the biggest in China, but big enough to give you consistent quality and flexible packing.
The calcium carbide stone you see here comes straight from our furnaces. We cool it, crush it, and screen it to 80-120 mm. No shortcuts. No mixing in broken pieces.
Big lumps react slower than small granules. That’s not a flaw – it’s a feature. Some acetylene generators are designed for a long, steady gas flow. Some steel desulfurization processes don’t want a violent reaction. Large calcium carbide stone gives you control.
The 300 L/KG yield is real. We test every batch. You’ll get a certificate with each shipment showing the actual number.

We export to over 50 countries. Our 80-120 mm calcium carbide stone is popular for:
Large acetylene generators – the kind that feed continuously for days.
Steel desulfurization – some lances work better with bigger lumps that sink slowly into molten metal.
Chemical plants that need a controlled reaction rate.
Calcium cyanamide production – the big pieces hold up better in rotary kilns.
If you’re not sure whether 80-120 mm fits your process, ask us. We’ve seen enough applications to give you an honest answer.

We pack our calcium carbide stone in steel drums. You pick the weight:
50 kg drums – easier for manual handling. A 20' container holds 450 drums (22.5 tons).
100 kg drums – fewer drums, less steel. A 20' container holds 225 drums (22.5 tons).
Which one gives you a better cost? That depends on your warehouse setup. We offer both. No pressure.
Grey drums are boring. Tell us a color. We have 11 RAL shades in stock, or we can match your custom code. For example:
80-120 mm → Dark grey drums
50-80 mm → Black drums
25-50 mm → Red drums
Your forklift driver sees dark grey – he knows it’s the big calcium carbide stone for the main generator. No label reading.

Stickers fall off in heat or rain. We paint your markings directly on the drum. Send a PDF or AI file. We’ll print:
Your company logo
“Calcium Carbide Stone – 80-120 mm – 300 L/KG”
Net weight (50 kg or 100 kg)
Batch number and production date
“DANGER: Reacts with water. Flammable gas.”

We’ve done markings in Thai, Arabic, Spanish, French, Vietnamese, Indonesian. No extra charge for standard text.

You don’t have to buy a full container of only 80-120 mm. Tell us what else you need. For example:
10 tons of 80-120 mm (dark grey drums)
6 tons of 25-50 mm (red drums)
4 tons of 7-15 mm (blue drums)
All in one 20' container. One freight bill. One customs clearance. That’s how a flexible calcium carbide supplier works.
Our warehouse is in Tianjin, less than 5 km from the port. That means we load fast. From deposit to shipment, count on two weeks lead time.
We’ve shipped to over 50 countries – Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Nigeria, Egypt, Brazil, Argentina, Poland, Turkey, South Africa, and many more. We know the documents each port asks for.
We don’t have REACH. If your destination needs it, please check locally. But we do have:
ISO 9001
SGS inspection reports (pre-shipment or upon arrival)
BV (Bureau Veritas)
Full SDS in English, French, Spanish, Arabic
GHS-compliant drum labels
Origin certificate, commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading
For most buyers in Asia, Africa, South America, and the Middle East, this is enough.
Big calcium carbide stone lasts longer than small granules because less surface area touches moisture. Still, you need to follow the rules:
Store drums off concrete floors (use pallets).
Keep temperature below 40°C, humidity under 50%.
Away from water pipes, sprinklers, or leaky roofs.
Always reseal drums after opening.
In a dry warehouse, our calcium carbide stone stays good for 2 years. In humid coastal areas, use within 18 months.
Water + calcium carbide stone = acetylene gas. Acetylene + spark = explosion. Never open a drum in wet weather. Never use water on a spill – use dry sand. If a drum gets wet by accident, evacuate. Do not move it.
We put warnings on every drum. Train your people.

We offer:
L/C at sight
T/T (30% deposit, balance against copy of bill of lading)
Negotiable for regular customers
